Baraja: “We have to face Osasuna with a great mentality because we are playing at Mestalla”

We have opponents in front of us who were one of the best teams last season. We've been thinking about this game all week. We have to face it with a great mentality because we are playing at Mestalla. Osasuna compete in every move and we have to face the game with desire and attitude, as well as the mentality to win at Mestalla. We have to try to have a good game to get the three points. It would make it three victories, starting off with a good dynamic, and if we can do it in front of our fans, at home, all the better.

As a team, they have been with their coach for quite some time and that always helps a team to be better. It is a more continuous job. Arrasate has put his stamp on the team and they qualified for the Conference League. The club are in a great moment. The Osasuna fans will be happy with their team, without a doubt.

The availability of Sergi Canós

He just arrived and he is coming off a different kind of preseason. We evaluate all the options, but we have different situations that we can assess, depending on the approach to the match. We always make decisions to win.

The summer transfer market

I already said what I had to after the Trofeo Naranja and I have nothing more to say. Even if we win, my pretensions in terms of transfers will not change.

It is evident that this type of behaviour is inappropriate. it was not right. I always like there to be respect for everybody, whether they are men or women and whatever the colour of their skin. It is also a pity that this situation tarnishes the great success of the women's team, and this makes me a little sad. I don’t know the matter well enough to be able to assess it with all the information. Obviously it is a situation that is not appropriate and I think it is not right. I have too many things of my own to think about to be analysing these situations.

Diakhaby and Fran Pérez

Fran's performance has been better than last year, and Diakhaby I think did participate last year, although it is true that it was in a different position. They are two good players who can help us and I hope they perform at their best level this season.
